Unlike porcelein and China glass is not very often marked.
How does one understand a good piece and ones not so good.
    Any ideas on these?

I have seen pieces similar to the first one, modern, made in Poland.

The red free-form one and the blue with the egg are not bad ...the rest? Meh.

Just bowls probably, although the red might be an ashtray. The red looks made on Murano possibly. Can I have a photo of the base of both please? And has that blue got some green in it, or is it an illusion?

Every day you learn (from the experts) bottom pictures

No way the red is an ashtray.

Your blue is Whitefriars. I think in Kingfisher. I can never remember the pattern numbers. Red probably made on Murano and I'm sticking with ashtray - they can be huge!
