I think we're going to need pictures of the entire table.

 

That is an odd place for a maker's mark and think it probably branded for corporate ownership instead. Table dates to late 19th century by my eye. Looks like maple or some other light colored hardwood.

 

Might be no connection but there was a thread from 2016 that discussed a similar mark from a Jesse Webb (and Sons) coppersmith that operated in the 1860s.
