Landscape artist...anyone familiar with this painter

I recently purchased this painting and cannot find any information about the artist--Billie Long Homer. If you have any information I would appreciate it. I thought it was a pretty nice painting. Thank you!!

 

From Ancestry records, it appears that Billie Long Homer (a female BTW) was born Billie Frances Bradshaw in Hamlin, Texas in 1927. At some point she married a Mr. Homer, but where the "Long" came from is not clear. May have lived in San Diego for a while in the 60's and in 1991 there is a listing that is likely her, living in Ruidoso, New Mexico. She died in 2006.

You're welcome, darryl. I'm going to keep trying over there, particularly to see whether I can find records that confirm that she was a painter in the professional sense.

 

I'd say amateur, but more "painterly" than many.

 

Agree. And likely New México. (Identifying location, of course, would add to value.)
