IMG_1345.jpg I bought this little envelope today with these sweet little ribbons inside.
I'm having trouble reading what was written on them, I made out some of it though.
    Can anyone help?

    The envelope measures approx 8"
    The pink ribbon approx 4.5"
    The green ribbon approx 6"

    Thanks in advance :)

I think they may be cigar ribbons? I see a name on each and "book marker" and "I wonder what I shall be doing this time next year"

Maybe some kind of fortune telling game?

On the Pink I think I see..
I wonder what shall I be doing this year.....
KM Perkins and the same date as on the envelope.
I can't make out the bit at the end.

The green one says ML Philips Book Marker
I shall be ? this time next year
I see 1844 but can't make out the rest.

I find it difficult to imagine the Kate Perkins made these. They look machine made to me.

I'm not sure what she meant by "made" them.
Maybe she means she made book marks of them?

The envelope says made May 16, 1874. (Or maybe 14 th)

    Yes 14th, thank you :)
I'm ok with reading the envelope, it's the ribbons I'm having a bit of trouble with.

This was why I pointed out the 1874 date on the envelope. :)
    Maybe just a typo.
