Featured Anyone know the maker of these Hawaiian whale wall tiles??

    I'm kinda embarrassed to put these up on an antiques website but in eighty years they will be one. :rolleyes:

    These are fairly obviously tourist ware resin tiles and chiselled of the wall of some dead dude/dudette for an estate sale but I can't track down the copyright mark. Tried some of the Hawaiian and American government websites but went down rabbit hole after rabbit hole. Two have “NCT”©“BA and one ©“LA” on the front. Anyone know the maker??

    Try vintage Newport, Connecticut
    For NCT/BA I’ll try to find one, I’ll look for the other.

    This one says engraved but I think the mold is engraved and these are simply poured in and then washed with a black ink.

    I’m guessing the LA would also be Newport, Connecticut.

    I saw that one, they were selling a cribbage board. I suspect they’re all made up for whatever they are selling. Will look more tomorrow at copyright rabbit hole.
