Hi members, I'm new here. I decided to join after reading your forum for a few weeks and everyone seems so nice. I have this teapot that I purchased for $10 at a thrift shop. It's marked on the bottom and stands 7.5" tall and about 7" wide including the handle and the spout. I'm wondering if anyone has any information on it. Such as it's age. I believe it French. Thanks so much.
I'm not sure how to get my media photos on this thread.

That mark was used between 1875 and 1918 according to a French website I googled. Since the country of origin isn’t marked, the. You can narrow the date to 1875 to 1891.

Yes I saw that listing on the French Ebay. Went to Google to calculate 20,00 EUR and it came out about $32. Didn't seem correct. Also said it was transfer ware somewhere else on the Web. Wonder if it is. Good to know the dates it falls between, kentworld. Thank you both.

According to the currency converter I use, 20 euro is about $23.84 (today).

Hello and welcome Karen S.! I'm afraid the price is about right $25 - $35. This is one of those cases where age does not necessarily translate to a high price. Sarreguemines transferware is not in much demand at the moment. Their majolica and art pottery are considered more desirable.
