Metal Object ?

    Have this hand forged piece would anyone recognise what it might be size is 4 inches across by 2 inches wide. 71BCA67B-E7F2-466D-B6CF-DFF19F8518C2.jpeg

    Only a guess, but it may be the top part from a barrel lock, or just "D" ring for a padlock?

    I would think some type of locking shackle. Close it around something and put a padlock's shackle through the hole to lock it.

    Old bicycle lock maybe?

    Agree with Sabre. Use with a padlock to secure a something.
