It’s 18cm high. Bought in Australia but not sure if local. Signature similar to Herbert Sanders but pretty sure it reads Saunders. Looks like real skill in the glazes. Anyone clues? I know nothing about pottery, but having a green inside and a matt black outside seems off to me. It looks like someone spray painted it black.

KikoBlueEyes is right. Bet it's more colorful. Note the red drips showing on the bottom.

Try contacting the eBay seller. They may not have anything to add to the story, but it's worth a try. Ask the seller about there asking price and what it's based on.

Thanks, yes looks like same maker so that’s a big help. I had wondered if mid century. I might be wrong but I don’t think the black is a repaint - yes there’s the small red dots underneath so clearly layered and inside also has layers with orange and green. The black alternates matt and gloss so a really nice metallic effect. The top blends seamlessly into the green, no edge or drips. All views appreciated and love it regardless :)

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

While logged in to eBay, if you go to the person's feedback page you should see a link that says "Contact Member." It's to the right under "Member Quick Links." If that doesn't work, there should be a way to contact the member about an item they currently have for sale. EBay has made it more difficult to contact people than it used to be, but somehow it should work.
