Cloisonne Thing

    What is this? Stands 2" tall, opening is 1 1/8" across the top and the base is 2 1/8". Has a plastic thing that went over it. Picked up at an estate sale.

    Hi,
    Ditch the plastic thing. Nice old 1930 to 1950 Chinese desk pencil holder. Perhaps even older. The "green" snow has arrived and my eyes are half shut and bouts of sneezing.
