I'm reading either Foed Hoitrik or Foei Hoityik, neither makes sense to me, or to google.
'Skizzen von' is German for sketches by. If I could only make sense of the signature.
I love the 'Russischer Bauer', Russian farmer, a very nice portrait and the artist is clearly accomplished.
The second one is of course of Port Saïd, familiar territory to your good self.
The last one is called 'Im Sauerland', in Sauerland, which is an idyllic region in western Gemany. It is subtitled 'Heimat', homeland, so the painter came from that region.

I forgot, on the frontispiece it says: Gewidmet vom Präsidium des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes, which means Dedicated to the Presidium of the German Red Cross.

I just tried Fred Hoitzik, because I noticed the z in Hoitzik is the same as in Skizzen, but nothing.
I did find a Willi Hoitzik, an ethnic German from Poland, who died in 1945.
Hoitzik sounds Slavic to me, there are many people with Slavic names in Germany. Even more so after WW II.

The value depends on so many factors, and whether this kind of art sells in your area.
He was clearly an accomplished artist, and I like his style. It looks like the kind of art that used to be made for travel magazines, cruises, etc. Except this was dedicated to the German Red Cross.
In general, if the artist is well known, the value is higher.
I can't find the name, but since he also worked in Egypt, he could be better known there. Or in any of the other countries he worked in.
