Would like to figure out about how old this is? Picked it up at an estate sale over the weekend. I don’t think they even charged me for it they thought so little of it. Looks like it’s pretty old to me. They did have a couple pretty early things at the house. I bought a book published domestically in 1743. Looks like some orange/red in the base. Guessing that’s iron used in the glass making process? Pontil mark is there. The glass is a sapphire blue. There’s an unfortunate chip but the price was right. Any ideas? 02BD6FD9-1676-4247-A662-35BA24B1F3DD.jpeg 1A8EDCC7-34B8-4D1C-92B1-89BD919EF379.jpeg 080FA98D-6944-4FC3-8A5B-46DDFEF51685.jpeg 7F244F73-4D2A-4B2E-A262-57528405015D.jpeg

I would peg that as Mexican from the 1950s.

    Hi,
I agree with Debora. It is Mexican.

Thanks Deb, Greg, and Baker! Glad I didn’t pay up for it!!! :) The lady of the house was obsessed with blue. The amount of blue kitchenware she had was insane. Saw this while I was cashing out and tossed it on the pile. At least my book and the Dorchester Pottery I picked up definitely aren’t Mexican.
