I can't find anything about Ionia Mfg Co other than them producing automotive stuff.
Then the stamp over on the bottom has me confused. 2018-05-24 23.33.07.png 2018-05-24 23.33.31.png 2018-05-24 23.34.09.png

I don’t think the first letter is an I. Also might be missing letter(s) before it.
Also not sure last letter is A.

I think the circle stamp underneath simply says "Semi Porcelain"
Over stamped with ??sonia MFG. Co Trenton NJ

There were a lot of pottery companies in Trenton. I didn't see this mark, but I could have missed it.

    Hi,
I love the violets on your piece. I am getting an Ansonia vibe on your piece. Lots of potteries in Trenton at that time.

I'm wondering why they stamped over another?

I could be wrong, but wouldn't a tureen have a ladle and a notch in the lid? You don't give measurements but I wonder if it's just a covered serving bowl like fror vegetables?

    Sweet violets :shame:

The two stamps probably mean that the blank came from one company, and a second company decorated it. That's generally the case when the marks are in competition, when one is overriding the other. If they were separated, possibly manufacturer and retailer.

I'm not sure really LOL I had to google vintage serving bowls just to find out if it had a name for this kind of bowl.

It reminds me of a gravy bowl/vegetable bowl LOL! I didn't know the word Tureen existed until I got this bowl!

    Oh and it's between 3 1/2"- 4" tall (w/o lid)
12" across from handle to handle.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I think @gregsglass is likely to be on the right track, that it's Ansonia Mfg Co. Or at least, that's what I think he meant!
