    Hello
This chair has been in may family for over 100 years but we don't know much about it. I believe it's from England. Any information about it would be greatly appreciated. 20210219_182009.jpg 20210219_182043.jpg 20210219_182101.jpg 20210219_182114.jpg

Ladder back, ribbon back, I've heard it both ways.

Molded, not carved, decoration. Early 20th Century. In this state the value would be virtually nil; repaired it would be just a bit more. In perfect condition, less than $50.00 at auction.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with @Ghopper1924's assessment - I think this could very well be a Georgian period chair. Carved too.

A pleasure to see the antique Esthetic Movement seat covering.

    S'okay @blooey. We can disagree.

Agree with Debora: the seat covering is cool.
