Weird Print - Artist?

Here's a small print 10 X 15 CM. Interesting subject matter. Indicated as an Artists Proof, entitled "Story Hour" and signed "M. Allen".

Does anyone recognize the artist?

That's a stumper. All I can add is that retro style of dress was popular in the 1970s.

Yes, it's a tough one. The painting from 1stdibs referenced by ritzyvintage is kind of reminiscent of the style, but the artist signature is too different I think. She prints "V ALLEN", as opposed to M. Allen in script on mine.

 

It's in a different medium which would lead one to believe a different artist. (I know. I know. Artists do work in different mediums but...)
