There is another word on left, model # center, and something written on cloth tape.

 

I suspected Asian because of the look but for the life of me, I'd never guess for tea Are they newer in your opinion?

 

The cups are probably newer; they look like the vases in shops like Hobby Lobby from the 70s onward. At least in Japan, the houses have almost no insulation, so clutching a handleless cup of hot tea is comforting. They take up less space, too.

 

The clock is likely 1960s (plus or minus) as suggested. SO reminiscent of those old TV style lamps. I used to go crazy for this kind of thing.

A lot of these figural glazed ceramic clocks had a separate metal and glass insert, this is a little unusual in that the whole thing is just part of the one piece ceramic mold.

I'm not sure ID'ing the maker is going to impact value that much one way or the other, but agree it looks like something might be written there. Good eye, HT, I mean INH.

It has a great vintage decorative look. Maybe came out after the "Ben Hur" movie. Gladiators, Roman, popular in 1960's decor.

One thing about these older clocks, just FYI. You need to let them run for at least several days to be sure they are keeping time. Sometimes they will loose 5 minutes here or there, if for resale good to know if it is working properly.
