Hello! I have a vanity with "Little Rock Furniture Manufacturing Company" stamped on the back, along with "Brkansas (guessing it means Arkansas?) Greatest Furniture Manufacturer. Would anybody here know anything about the company? Tried googling but only news clippings/court case came up. I included a link with photos of my vanity.

    Thank you if anybody knows!

    Hi Tinyasparagus!

    Welcome to Antiquers..........:cat:

Members prefer photos to be inserted directly.

If you're having trouble with size, and use your phone, email them to yourself and choose medium. That should correct the size for you.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Looks like it’s an ‘unsupported’ format.....couldn’t see which one, but .jpg is the most common you’ll see used here....size looked OK!

That may be all you are able to find. There are thousands of furniture companies mostly lost to time. Not sure why you would need to know more. Your vanity is circa 1925 and has lost most, if not all, its antique value due to paint and condition. It still has utility value. Who made it is irrelevant to value in this case, either way.

Interesting that it does seem to say Brkansas... and Greasest.

I am so sorry! I was not at home all day. I will remember that for the future about the photos. I apologize again!

My husband and I were just curious since I've had it for so long and never thought about its history.

I did buy it from a garage sale with it painted like this. Some paint has peeled off, but they were going for the "rustic" type look, I assume.

Great refinishing project. You could bring it back to it's original shine. Brad knows more about furniture than I, but my guess would have been 1950s. Hollywood regency.

Or maybe Greasiest. Everyone loves some greasy furniture, right?
