Oriental Vase ID Help

    Measures 14" height, seems to be made from red clay. Moriage? Hopefully somebody can translate the mark, thanks. dv1.jpg dv2.jpg

    looks to me a stone cut vase ? so maybe a good look to take and is it cold to touch ?(colder then a pottery vase . If so it could be older then you think

    Good guess INH, but this is a Chinese piece and I believe it could be soapstone as suggested above ..I don't think it's too old either.
