    I am trying to identify this ring, any idea of the maker of this one?

    The stone looks like a low grade "imperial topaz",can't help with the maker's mark.

    It is a modern silver and what looks like amber ring made by some blokes in a shed somewhere. Or some other blokes.

    Thanks all, still a bit of a mystery this one then, the stone is cold to the touch, we think sunstone - the 925 stamp looks somewhat mexican..will keep searching.

    Sunstone a definite possibility. The ring may be artisan made; I see this sort of thing at crafts shows.
