Chinese pewter (?) tumbler (?)

    This belonged to my great grandfather and I've been using it as a pencil holder for about 30 years. It's about 5.75" tall and the base is about 2.75" in diameter. I'm interested to find out how old it might be and what the marks on the bottom say. Any info greatly appreciated! Thank you! IMG_2478.jpeg

    Probably Chinese. Agree it appears to be the makers name. Can't work out top left character, others may be 佔 禾順 the last character is Heshun which does crop up in Chinese pewter.
