This Can't be an Earring?

This is made by Sarah Coventry, measures 2 1/2" x 1 3/4". The clip is the same as what an earring would be, but this is pretty big to wear as an earring.

Earring! We wore them that size, I've pairs that are even larger.

 

Earring - I would call it an ear climber because it would reach way up on the ear

 

You should see some of the ones I've got. They mountaineer up me lugholes.

 

Another vote for earring.
Dress (sweater) clips have longer clips.

 

I vote dress/sweater or scarf clip. Only because if you clipped that to your ear it would be upside down.

I put all singles in my box of repair stuff to be sold. The stones look nice & can be harvested for repairs.

 

Hi, I just couldn't get it out of my head yesterday that if this was an earring it would be upside down on your ear so today I decided to look into it. Below is what I found although you still only have one it seems to be a shoe clip.

They're earrings, despite what the seller has decided, and I'm wincing a bit at thought of those clip-backs digging into my feet (real shoe-clips were bad enough)...

Ok thanks. I just couldn't imagine the placement of the clip being where it is would be for an earring. Then the bow section would go at the bottom of your ear and the spray up? Just seemed upside down to me when I pictured putting it on my ear. Thanks again, Susan

 

Agreed. Shoe clips are longer and flat, I have a fair few.

Yes, the spray goes up: the ribbon is tying a bouquet.
