    Hi all,

I got gifted this and while I know its dresden im finding it hard to value it. There are tons and tons of Dresden Ballerina figurines on the net or ebay etc. I've not been able to find one exactly the same as this.

Any help or information about this inparticular one would be appreciated, just knowing more about it would be great or if anyone knows what it would be worth.

I live in the UK so take that into account if you wish.

    Thanks all.

Think you need to be looking at flamenco dancers, not ballerinas.

Thanks for the welcome and quick responses! much appreciated. Yeah, I've seen many that are very similar but mostly always have different style of stamps / marks. Many also price wise range from 10s of pounds tto 100s of pounds so its hard to tell.

We have a winner! instantly found a website with some more information about it.

W GERMANY DRESDEN LACE FLAMENCO DANCER CARMEN FIGURINE

Signed W. Germany in gold as shown in the photo, the lovely Flamenco Dancer is called Carmen. She is wearing Dresden Lace Porcelain and notice the little applied flowers in her hair. Really a lovely piece. CONDITION: No cracks or chips - all fingers are present and accounted for. This is really a very nice vintage figurine despite the missing lace and applied flowers. See photos. MEASUREMENT: Just shy of 7 1/4" high VINTAGE: 1950's era

It appears my version has less lace, not sure if its just been lost etc. or just a slightly different version. It does have a few bits that are different but very similar hm
