    Hi AH. I think they are chopstick rests and sake cups. They probably came from a much larger dinner set with matching bowls or. sake bottle, but all good hosts have chopstick rests. Warm sake is a high alcohol drink, you can smell the fumes before you even taste it, and is regarded as a social drink or a dinner wine. It is fermented from rice. Itadakimasu! (Bon Appetit!)
