New to the forum, which looks like a site with very knowledgeable members.

I've done some research on this Jing De Zhen tea pot, but haven't been able to find much information. I was able to identify the makers mark with a translation app, but can't find any detailed info. I'd like to see out if there is any way to date it, and identify the material, design, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Here are a few pictures:

If you go to gotheborg.com there’s a lot of info about marks.
Made in China is on ceramics after 1919.

Thanks for the response. I did check there, but couldn't find a match. I'm going to check it again and see if I missed something.

It does say Zhongguo (China) Jingdezhen. Gotheborg dates it to the 1970s or 80s, so not an antique. You can go to the site and click on Chinese marks on the left side menu.

Thanks for the response. I did find the mark under Zhongguo. There are several variations of the letters/numbers under "MADE IN CHINA", and I see "N", "D", "I", but not the "DI" on my piece. Any idea what the numbers and different letters designate? Also, any idea what the characters above the dragon design are?

    Thanks again.

The tea pot was made by "China Jingdezhen Art Porcelain Factory" (中国景德镇艺术瓷厂), "D represents Art porcelain factory"(different letter represents different factory)
    It was made in 1981.

The characters above the dragon is 喜喜 or 囍 - "double happiness"
