Van Briggle Deer

Nothing special but can’t find anything on the WKT initials. Any idea?

 

Hi Kardinalisimo....I checked my Van Briggle book, but the deer is not shown.

The WTK is probably the finishers initials, but I saw no reference to any of the initials or names of the finishers. I could've missed that.

I also noted that in the several photos of the bases, none of them had the large hole such as your deer.

Google says that the factory closed in 2012.

 

Found two others one but different finishers. One says is scarce but don’t know how true is that.

I see that the one in the Hines reference, it sold for $16.00.

 

We’ll see, maybe Ebay can attract more interest.
