Who Is Heidi Daus?

    I'm scrolling through a local online auction and there are a number of Heidi Daus brooches in their box. Seem to be garnering some attention. I need educating! Thanks.

    I don't know when her line started, but contemporary and it is still being sold. Her line used to sell on the Home Shopping Network (HSN) and a lot of it is "vintage inspired". Her elaborate stuff definitely has a following, but there is a range in values. Doing a quick Ebay Sold check, the least expensive one sold for $4 and the most around $1K. One of the top auctions stated that the item being sold (which sold for $600) retailed for $850, so some of the pieces were fairly expensive when new.

    Well, looking at the website, it's not cheap! Guess the person who's selling the stuff shopped on HSN quite a bit! Thanks for the info!
