I recently found this plate. The impressed backstamp "Mason's Patent Ironstone China" shows it to date from between 1813-1820. I'm not sure of the name of the pattern though as there appear to have been numerous in production back then.

Does anyone have any ideas? IMG_20180618_183703.jpg

It usually helps those who might know, if you include photo of back and the size. :)

    Hi,

Have a look for the pattern tree peony, I think that’s what it is.

Mason's is known for their Imari patterns.
    Also "Tree of Life"

Most likely never had a pattern name.
Are there any small hand painted numbers on the back? That will be the pattern number.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

They're both lovely plates, but I'd say by two different makers! There's no way I can line both patterns up the same, the edges of the plates are different, and the painting itself is a bit different, not that it really matters!!! As I said to start....I think they are both beautiful!!!
