Chinese teapot?

    Hello
    I wonder if someone can help me with this teapot.
    Is it Chinese?
    I couldn't find any similar on the web.

    Or the small signs engraved under the base mean "Dai Nippon (Great Japan)".
    But why the Chinese coins on it?

    Is it from Meji Period?

    I think early 20th c, 1920s or 30s
