It does have a more modern look, but it lacked any information. It is very heavy, so perhaps not appealing for use in daubing perfume. Maybe lost in history, then. Thanks for the thoughts.
I could strangle those who change or stop producing things I love. I know the feeling!

I don't know much about the Mikado company. I have one that is packed away right now that has hardware like the one in this listing. I bought it many years ago just because I thought the hardware was unusual.

The blue one reminds me of the heavy-cut bottles that were made all over the place.

Well I hope I've been a good pupil. You have shared so much of your knowledge with me and shown so many examples of your beauties, so I hope I've learned how to spot the better stuff. That Mikado piece is very odd, I must say. I'm very happy with the blue piece because it has dimensionality. Thanks for the links.

Older malachite glass we have always known as Jablonec.Made by Henry and Curt Schlevogt.Desna is a fairly modern repro of their glass. Your bottle looks older, and I hope, an original Jablonec.

Jablonec is where lovely garnets come from as well as glass.

Some sites, including Etsy, say the original moulds are used. We have read that this is not true. Some have claimed they are using the originals but are just making it up. Presumably they moulded off the original objects, so the products are not as crisp as original Jablonec.

Thank you so much for these insights. It's fascinating how the efforts to copy can over time become conflated into web reality. Here are some close ups of my piece. What do you think of these details? Real Jablonec or copy?

I have two bottles of Je Reviens and one I merely sniff and another I use VERY SPARINGLY on special occasions...they are the older ones, '30s with the Lalique bottles. My Aunt gave me one in the 80s and I loved it. Couldn't replace it as the newer stuff was yak.
    Am loving these bottles!

Thank you. I got his most interesting ones. I can’t wear scent because I have severe allergies but I can love the bottles they came in.

The fine details are nice so I am leaning towards real at the moment.

Bou, if you like that, hunt out Cabotine by Gres, but it must be the one with the green stopper. I think you'd like it.

Another one I love is Ivoire, by Balmain but it's vanished. Along with Pavilion - the only Estee Lauder I ever liked.

    I don't think I've worn perfume in a year.

I cover myself in it...I'm not terribly sophis as my utter fave of all time is French Almond. I love incense sticks too and always smell of them. Oh and Eau d'dogncat xx
