    Please help me
    I want information on
designs of Emperor Palpatine's chair from Return of the Jedi (1983).

There is information available about who designed the chair Palpatine uses in Episode III. I'm looking for similar information regarding his throne in Episode VI.

Thanks for the rec, More -- way outside of our wheelhouse, though (we're much more Star Trek than Star Wars), but we'll take a few blind stabs at it...

IMDb is a great source for this sort of stuff [ https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086190/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast ] -- it reminds us the late great sci-fi illustrator Ralph McQuarrie served as concept artist for the first three SW films (Episodes IV, V, and VI), and the sketch shown in bpvxvqd's fifth picture sure looks to us like McQuarrie's work.

Michael Ford and Harry Lange were in charge of set decoration.
Keith Short, as Debora mentioned, was indeed the sculptor, although we'd guess (guess) that he built the chair based on the design created by some combination of McQuarrie, Ford, and/or Lange.
Richard Dawking, John Fenner, and Michael Lamont were all assistant art directors and any of them, as well, might have had input on the design, along with the film's director, of course, Richard Marquand.

We hope that's of some help. You could also try writing the Senate, where we're pretty sure Palpatine continues as minority leader.
