Thirty years of learning about vintage and antiques, still know little!

    Hello. I'm a long time collector and flipper of vintage and antique items. I had an eBay store for 12 years and only recently canceled it due to being away from home helping family members out of state. I love most art formats, pottery, and cultural items. I gravitate towards odd things that are not mainstream. I live between Arkansas and Missouri, traveling back and forth. I'm addicted to auctions...the dirtier the better. I cannot pass up a good farm auction. I'm always looking for an auction buddy since my husband doesn't share my addiction. On a side note, I'm a scrap metal artist.

    Welcome to the forums! I really enjoy rural auctions too. Have seen a couple of dandies in recent years. One fellow tried to recreate his own main street in the middle of nowhere in the woods by trucking in old buildings and antiques. It was a sight to behold. Wish I had gotten good photographs.
