Hi, can anyone guide me in the right direction for information on this beautiful green glass. It's obviously for flowers. The lady stands about 10 inches high and the diameter of the large bowl is 12 inches. This belonged to my grandmother, so 1930s' or earlier. Any pointers would be appeciated. Thank you.

Thank you, very similar to some Cambridge glass!

Interesting combination. Not all green glass has uranium as a colorant. This looks post WW2 to me and I would check Cambridge. Is there a pattern to the bowl? I suspect that the lady sits on the plinth with the feet down.

Hi, yes the lady sits on the plinth. And yes there' a very delicate pattern on the bowl.

Can you get a photo of the bowl pattern even though faint.

The bowl probably sits on the stand, with the flower frog inside. Have you tried that.
At the moment the stand is upside down.

The lady may have sat on a lamp base.
Looks like all the same manufacturer, as the color is the same and frosted. (except for the frog which does not appear frosted.)

I don't think it is Cambridge.
Need to look at English @Ownedbybear

Thank you. ;) I rather like North Eastern English glass. This is a nice set.

Check out Tiffin Glass. The lady does not go on that base. If it's green, it's not Vaseline.

Thanks Owned by Bear - you are a star. Had no idea the Base went the way it does. I'll be researching her further tonight. Thanks again

The base is right, Fenton, it's just upside down and goes under the bowl!

    You're very welcome, Melanie.

That's right, the bowl is "upside down" doesn't hold anything.

It's not the bowl which is upside down, it's the plinth under her ladyship. ;)

Have a look at the photo of the four separate pieces: you can see that the bowl neatly sits on the plinth when it's the right way up. So, plinth first, then bowl, then lady.
