approx 9” and made of Chalkware. It was sold as Victorian in age but I’m really not sure it is that old. It is so odd and I’m curious if anyone knows anything about it.
Does she have the worst case of measles ever?
Any info is very much appreciated

T.G.I.M.F.F.!!! Lol. Sorry for the curse word

There is such thing as a chicken pox doll (watch the spots disappear!) but that was plastic 1980’s, so it doesn’t match your doll.

I wonder if there were earlier chicken pox dolls since it is a childhood illness? Though yours seems more for display than play. How odd!

It's the same mold but different face paint. Her backside is unspotted, so I'm sticking with my theory.

Cheap plaster chalkware was made by the truckloads for carnivals, etc. to give away as prizes for the marks who spent a small fortune trying to best the Midway games... always rigged. Associated mostly with the depression era, these range between 1910-1940s roughly. Yours is painted with an airbrush. Not worth a lot except for the few "special topic" figurals, but fun and kitschy memorabilia. http://www.antiqueweek.com/ArchiveArticle.asp?newsid=2806 51-carnival-chalkware-chalk-plaster_1_f3eb88523cd855733748fadaa6974c13.jpg

.. and I think those are just her "rosy" spots. Airbrushes can get out of control real fast! vintage-pin-nude-topless-chalkware_1_660b7028949f40447db9dbc779d3ca71.jpg

She’s so odd. I guess the rosy spots would make sense other than her toes. Did she step in a pile of reds ?!?! Lol. I need help’s doll is her without the rosacea

thank you all. I couldn’t find anything like her anywhere. I got a little more to go on now. You guys are amazing. Have a wonderful week
