Glass bowl with rigaree...leaves, cherries? Where from...

    6" across 3 1/2" tall. The bowl itself (coloring of the glass) reminds me of Scottish stuff I've seen online. Top rim is ground smooth and flat but not highly polished. No pontil mark at all on the base, seems fire polished perhaps. And the decoration - well - see the pics :) Where might this be from? The rim has me thinking chinese perhaps but I haven't seen anything quite like this. Thanks again for any help or ideas :)

    Just a guess,maybe Bimini? Gorgeous bowl.

    hot glass stuck on to other glass which is stuck on to other glass.....

    If it's something special...I'm not seeing it !

    I actually don't find it super attractive myself(beyond the color of the main bowl), but I did find it unusual and interesting - and the price was right!

    I'm of course....only referring to the bowl......& figured the price had to be right for you to take a flyer here !!
    Maybe it's too abstract for my eye...:cyclops:

    I would call it modern studio item too much hand work for a production piece in todays market.

    I think it would make a better...more pleasing statement if the clear glass ribbons were not present ....... just me though......:happy:
