    Just to say hi.
Im perhaps not yr stereotypical Antiquer but i do like old things, perhaps through my interest in metal detecting.
There seems to be many layers of knowledge on this forum and so i'm pleased to be aboard.
I have a very old Oak chair stored in a bedroom which i will be asking for opinions on in due course. It's been passed down through the family & i'm really struggling to find any similar examples online.
    All the best
    Mark
