wax and bisque half doll help

can anyone help with these dolls

i thought they might have been old, but then realised one of them was lady gaga !!

but seriously, what kind of dolls are they ?, presuming their missing parts

one is wax, the other bisque

any thoughts appreciated

 

Hi Charlie! I doubt if one is Lady Gaga

They both look to be from the 20's/30's era.

They are half dolls. They were attached to a base of some sort.

Sometimes the bases would be a pincushion. I had one at some point attached to a lamp base.

The wax is probably wax over compo.

Looks like one is missing arms, and other hands.

The wigs could be mohair.

Their faces resemble the full body boudoir doll.
