Glassies: Art glass/6 fingers/Star base

    I found a very odd piece of art glass that I'm hoping to get an ID on if possible. Google images wasn't any help. The bottom is a 6 point star. Each point is a rib on the back of each finger. The fingers vary in height with the tallest being 9 7/8" high x about 9: across at widest point. Viking.png Viking2.png

    Hm. Those star bases are often Japanese.

    I have just googled japanese art glass. Shu, my world has just got better. What wonderful chunky vases and objects of envy........ What pretty swirled items and colours.

    It's under rated and only just being recognised. A fair bit of "Murano" is Japanese!
