I Really like the lions pulling the chariot. Cupid and Psyche ended up married and happy ever after?

From an 1873 reprint of a 1787 Wedgwood catalog:

Some of the sage green Wedgwood I've gathered up over the last few decades, not worth much, but I like it anyway...

From what I have briefly read John Flaxman had quite a career after his young years at Wedgwood he added a large collection of works very accomplished. Very nice collection Cheryl:happy: Yes dragonflyWink that the same one on this piece without the trumpeter.

Nice collection! I love the sage green color but don't have any of it. I do have some of the cobalt blue, which is also a favorite of mine.

Hi Fig, there's more packed away, along with several egg-shaped boxes in various colors - the collection started in my teens when Mom regifted a pair of earrings to me (have several pieces of green German jasperware too), there's something about the sage green that just pleases my eye. Blue is actually my favorite color, and the cobalt is my favorite among the Wedgwood blues, but for some reason, the classic light blue like this one doesn't really much appeal to me...

Same here, Cheryl -- about the light blue. I do have a small vase in the light blue that I got as a gift. Oh, and also some jewelry in that color.
