Mirror? 4 1/2 pounds of bronze 12 1/4 Inch diameter Case is beautiful

    I’ve found several like this mirror but none authoritative, none consistent. None were showing a case.

    Beautiful. I don't see damage to the case. I would guess Japanese. Writing should answer a lot of your questions and you should get it translated. Maybe had a lacquered wooden handle that has been removed/lost?
