How old has art be to be callen vintage?

I have a 15 yo Painting, is it vintage?

 

In terms of fine art, "vintage" doesn't really have much merit, or even "antique," for that matter. Traditionally identified by the century when it was created, general time period, by art movement, genre, even location, to name a few.

The word "vintage" was originally used for wines, but eBay has successfully muddied the waters and destroyed any credibility the word held.

Having said all of that, 15 years is not vintage.

u could get away with saying your painting is .... 2006 vintage !

 

Etsy vintage is 20 years or older until you hit the antique 100 year mark. Agree with above, fine art can be described best as @sabre123 has outlined

 

15 years old is simply “used”
