Featured H.E Cox? Think that's what it says xx

Hello all...just got these. I love them. (DW about my feelings, they were 50p each so not much invested.)
I am a total heathen but I think they are good. I know nothing though

I think it says H E Cox. There IS a H.E Cox that I found online but can't work out if these are the same. He is an established artist so pretty sure not.

Do you think the vehicle in my pic is a car? I have just read that he only painted a car once so I bet it's a horse thing?

Funny, I "read" it as a car but think you're right -- horse and cart.

The driver is higher than the horse thing, and I can see the horse's legs between the wheels, so yes, a horse thing.

Great buy Boudicca .. and lovely artwork, .. Joy.

 

Hard to tell from photographs but there appears to be some foxing and fading. If you intend to keep them, you might want to take to a good framer for a look at.

The one in frame has the teeniest bit of foxing,the other one seems better. They could be a bit faded, hard to tell but the colour seem uniform.

Got utterly tonnes this weekend, and I managed to find an Amercan Girl Barbie which is no mean feat in England ( though that is my second I have found, so not that HTF I s'pose but that is over the duration of 15 years)
I am waffling now!
