Old B & W Airplane Photos

    Mom gave me these pictures to check up on. Wondering if anyone knows the whole sign or where it was at. The 3rd biplane pictures has a logo. A shield with wings, J & M in the shield.

    Definitely M & not W for Jacobs & Waco?

    I think the signs says & Waco Service (And meaning Also in this case) Waco is a make of airplane.

    I mean I know the sign says & Waco Service LOL

    These pictures all belonged to my dad. The company settled in Troy OH (Google) which would make sense we we came from that area.

    Found an ad in this digitized publication called "Aero -- Digest."

    "WACO F & WARNER MOTOR used parts: Used
    instruments. Good condition. Write for quotations
    on your needs. The H. C. Robbins Company,
    Cleveland Airport, Cleveland, Ohio
    ."

    It's in the middle of the third column in the left-hand page.

    Perhaps it's that company?

    I think you are right about the H.C. Robbins Co.

    He had a connection to WACO
