How do you tell the time on the clock? Is there some secret way? Or is that the "mystery?"

That mermaid clock is to die for!!!!! Wow!!!

Hubby and I tried to go to see the new Hard Rock Casino in A. C., but the expressway was blocked off due to an accident, so we took another trip.

I went back to the place that has been soooo good to me the last couple of weeks.

I was about to walk out until I looked in a tray of sterling rings. Somebody messed up a lovely Chinese export ring by dumping testing acid all over it (brass underneath) and a really pretty costume ring.

But...I did find this for $8.



Platinum and diamond solitaire, and it fits. I do better when I stay away from the glassware.

I know it a photo....but the stone may be cleaner than you think......get a jewelers eye on it !!!

 

Thanks, it was cruddy when I got it. I had a hunch it was the real deal because of the setting, the markings, and there is a hole underneath the setting where the stone is in the band. The writing inside is hard to read... and I didn't take a loupe out. It still needs a very good steam cleaning, very sparkly, the camera can't capture it. Every time Samsung does an upgrade, my camera gets worse. I use hubby's now and just email the pics to myself. Kinda makes up for the CZ in the necklace I got last week.

 

Yes , they do have similar features. Yours just has cleaner lines altogether though, it is very nice. Your collection looks stunning. Not complaining about mine though , I am still thrilled to add it to the collection.

Thank you! Hmmmm.....I thought this was platinum.....not sure of the hallmarking.....nothing like I've ever seen. I have platinum rings, this seems different....I definitely have to get to my favorite jeweler. Could this be palladium? I will try to capture the hallmark tomorrow. I did test the stone, and it is surely a diamond.

 

Hallmark on diamond ring. Will post in Jewelry. Any ideas?

 

I can't say that's a hallmark, or if someone was chewing on the ring !....
