Actually, another Inuit carving that I showed you all had a non artist slab of stone to sit the piece on and it made a huge difference in how he looks. (He is going to be moved over to the other side of the case, so he is not pointed towards the side of the bookcase, but I have been working on a project for months that consumes all my time.)

What about a piece of Ulexite?. That looks like ice, especially if you could get a rough piece.

Perfect. Best idea yet! Clear but unobtrusive. He is going to be so happy, he can keep his fish!

I use Museum wax to keep . I have a wooden bear and his fish falls out al the time. Museum wax comes in a jar . It is clear and will museum wax.jpg not stain or hurt your furniture. When you need to clean just lift it up and it will re stick.

I like the styrofoam idea. Should be both easy and effective.

I agree. I have a bunch of selenite slabs but they are too big.

I love that you have a bear that also spits out his fish. I think that is an excellent plan for both needs. As soon as I can anchor him down so he stands up then I’ll see if he will keep his fish. If not I’ll use this. Thank you.
