Is this a pitcher or a vase and is it Stangl?

I am hoping someone can give me a little information on this piece. It looks like a lot of things by Stangl but has no mark one the bottom other than a number written on it and a little sticker residue. I don't know if it is supposed to be a vase or a pitcher. A few have suggested some kind of primitive bed pan, though I'm pretty sure they were joking. It stands around 5.5" tall and is around 9" long. Thanks in advance for any help or ideas.
