Featured Repourpsing an old phone

    I bought this oak phone at a flea market. It was only 40 bucks and missing some parts. I ordered an original brass hook and a light pendent. Put a turn switch in the crank hole and bought an LED Edison light. Twisted two cord oak Bakelite look cord and plug. Should be kind of cool.

    Hi and WELCOME @edteach !!!! Essentially, that was our phone in the early '50's at our summer house!!!! And the phone # was 132W.....BOY!!! Did THAT just pop right back in the ole head!!!!!!:happy::happy::happy:

    Be sure to post a photo of the finished project!

    Awhile back I started a thread for people to post their lamps. I pulled one of mine from there with my phone lamp. I didn't do the conversion but love it anyway. You turn the light on by lifting the ear cone.

    Same here.....hey, S_I_S, we both have brass phones!!!!! FIL gave us his MANY moons ago!!!! Can't wait to see yours, @edteach !!!!!
