    Gold filled pin, about 1.25"x1".
-Any clues on the initials? A company, or sorority/fraternity? Not sure if it is K II M or K M.
    -Approximate age or era?
-Maker's Mark a "C" with a vertical line through it. Any ideas?

    Thanks everyone. PIN GF INITIALS K M a.jpg PIN GF INITIALS K M c.jpg PIN GF INITIALS K M d.jpg PIN GF INITIALS K M b.jpg

It looks like the Roman numeral II between the K & M to me.

Sorry I posted and ran, work got crazy as usual. I also thought maybe it was the roman numerals II, which confounded me even more. Never even thought it could be an "o", which @komokwa suggested.

But that led me to KOM, saw some entries for Egypt....then said shoot, try "KOM" in eBay...evidently it stands for Knights of Momus, a Mardi Gras society...

The Knights of Momus ("KOM") were a Mardi Gras society in Galveston, Texas, founded in 1871. The original Knights of Momus went defunct around the time of World War II.A new group was founded in the mid-1980s, and seeking to rekindle the spirit of the original group, adopted the Momus name.

I end every post for help with the same phrase thanking members for any & all advice or opinions. I do this for 2 reasons - 1) Back on the old eBay boards I posted on a thread for a particular item that another member thought that they were the only one who could answer questions for that item & I was basically told to stay in my lane. I have never forgotten being made to feel like I was not smart enough to contribute anything & it took me some time after that to get up the courage to put myself out there again. 2) You never know when someone is going to suggest something that will ultimately lead you in the right direction.:happy::happy:
