English poterry?

    image 3.jpg image_3.jpg hello, does anyone know what kind of porcelain it is and from what period it comes from? It looks English.

    It is English, Honiton Pottery (pottery not porcelain). The mark is 'Collard Honiton England' and it dates to the Art Deco period c1920-40. Honiton is the town in Devon where it is made, and it very much copies the Poole Pottery style of the period.

    They don't fetch a lot on ebay etc, but if it is good condition you can't go far wrong at that price, it's less than a sandwich at the motorway services!

    Three quid is about right. Poole would be twice that or a bit more.
