Help needed identifying jardiniere

    Does anyone recognize this jardiniere or have any information on it? It is unmarked and measures about 12" in diameter and 10.5" high. I would appreciate any info!

    Welcome, @cmcg9 --

    This is a difficult one, without a mark. And the green/brown glazes must have been very popular, since they were frequently made. I hope somebody who knows more about this sort of thing will chime in. Just now I did some general google searches. I'm sure you did that as well. That showed what a large number of jardinieres were made with the color scheme.

    Is all that dark gritty looking stuff on the bottom some kind of glue or what?

    It's extra glaze and will not come off. Typical of early 20th century US.
