Help I/D railroad item

hello everyone I can’t seem to find out any info on this brass & enamel railroad pass pin I tryed to research it but don’t see anything like it I’m sure iam just missing something any information would be great thanks to all. Matt

 

I have trouble fitting that pin into this history. Wonder if you have a fantasy item?

Definitely a fantasy item. It's the wrong enamel style to be old, the back is straight out of the 70s or 80s, and I've never seen a pass that looked anything like it.

The name was used in Britain .... in the early 1840s and not since.
