Cast buffalo...any hope on signature?

Not sure about this guy, but signed and the price was right at a garage sale.

Any hopes with the signature? I can make out the edition, 3/150.

Also do I call this a bronze cast? Thank you.

 

There is an artist by the name of, Charles M. Russell (1864-1926) that created a lot of bronze [wildlife] sculptures. The mind plays tricks on you...in the bottom sig, does it look like C M r? But then you have what looks like an "S" so I don't know.
